Roksana Savitski is a passionate and committed teacher with more then 30 years of experience. Her teaching career blossomed in Warsaw, Poland, where she moved in 1999. She was on the faculty at the Chopin Elementary Music School and Szymanowski Complex of Public Music Schools, while maintaining a large private studio. During her 17 years in Poland, Roksana's students consistently won top prizes at different piano competitions across Poland, including the J. S. Bach Competition, the Alla Polaca Competition and the Piano Miniature Competition. She was also on the music faculty at Warsaw Baptist Theological Seminary where she instructed prospective worship leaders. Roksana performed as a collaborative pianist and was a highly sought-after accompanist, working with soloists and choirs in elementary and middle schools.
Roksana received her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance and Music Education in Ukraine. In 1985, she joined the piano faculty at the First Music School in Vinnytsya, Ukraine. Simultaneously, she worked as a performing accompanist at Ukrainian State Opera Theater from 1989, along with playing for choirs and vocal ensembles at First Baptist Church.
Roksana's passion for music was passed on to her children. All of her four sons became professional musicians. In 2016, Roksana and her husband moved to Houston to join them. Roksana is offering her expertise and love for music to her students in Houston.
