Tomás Jonsson rocks Texas! This year Tomas won several of the hardest and most coveted competitions in Texas: 1st place award in the 9th-grade solo division TMTA (Texas Music Teacher's Association). The biggest deal in Texas! He also won 1st Place in the Baylor-Waco Piano Competition 9th Grade Solo Division


The Winning Team! After winning the state and regional levels of the MTNA competition, Kenneth Yu and Kerrigan Quenemoen represented the South Central division of the MTNA National Convention in the Las Vegas Competition. They were among the 7 best teams selected from all over the United States for two years in a row! Now, guys, this is big! Read more from the Houston Chronicle.


Rachel shines at Carnegie Hall! Rachel Yang performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City! She was selected to perform after winning First Prize with special honors at the 2014 Sonatina and Sonata International Youth Competition, held in Corpus Christi, Texas.

 


Andrew Sun and Sarana Zhang duet team won First Prize in the HMTA duet competition and Second Prize in the Kawai-SNG International Competition


Tomás Jonsson won the Grand Prize in the Kawai-SNG International Competition in which competitors came from China to participate. He was awarded a Music Doing Good Scholarship in 2015 to continue his studies. He was also selected as a Houston Young Artist for the 2015-16 Season.


Kenneth Yu performed a charity concert benefiting the Make-a-Wish Foundation. The concert was organized by Katherine Yu and featured solo music and duet music with his partner Kerrigan Quenemoen. They were interviewed by Channel 13 TV and raised over $15,000 for the foundation. Autumn Watt, Francis Patience, William Fan Humfrey Xu, Sarana Zhang, and Haeyun Lee were named finalists in the Kawai-SNG Piano Competition.
