Tuition and Lesson Policies
To help everyone have a great experience at our school, we have a few important policies. Payment is made by pre-authorized credit/debit cards, or by recurring bank account withdrawals on the first of each month. New students can start mid-month and tuition will be prorated for the first month. No other payments are prorated and there are no refunds for missed lessons.
Our school year calendar correlates with the HISD calendar. Fall lessons begin in late August and last until winter break in late December, with a week off for Thanksgiving. Lessons resume in early January and the school year ends at the end of May, with a week off for spring break. Check our school calendar for exact dates.
Summertime is flexible and contains ten lessons. Students have ten lessons to take at any time during the summer (June 1st through the third week of August). If you end up taking fewer than ten summer lessons, you will receive credit towards September tuition. There is an unscheduled two week summer break which students can coordinate with their teachers. Additional summer lessons can be added, and 24-hour advance notice is required to cancel a lesson.
Students also have the option to pause payments for summer. Contact us by May 15 with your request, and on June 1st, you will be charged September’s tuition. This will reserve a place in our school in the fall. This payment is non-refundable. Our school year begins at the end of August, and on September 1st you will be charged for one August lesson. We offer up to two make-up lessons each semester provided students give 24-hour advance notice.
Students can stop lessons at any time by notifying us in writing by the first day of your final month of lessons. The final month’s tuition is not prorated.

30-minute lessons - $174
45-minute lessons - $256
60-minute lessons - $338
Recurring Payment Authorization Form
I, authorize The International Music Academy LLC to charge my credit card, debit card, or bank account on file for $ on or after the 1st of each month for music lessons. The price of lessons will not change except with 30 days advance notice.
I have read and agree to the terms listed in the Tuition and Lesson Policies, and I will not receive notice before the charge is made.
I understand missed lessons are not refundable.
Your Information
I understand that this authorization will remain in effect until I cancel it in writing, and I agree to notify The International Music Academy LLC in writing of any changes in my account information or termination of this authorization at least 30 days prior to the next billing date. If the above noted payment dates fall on a weekend or holiday, I understand that the payments may be executed on the next business day. I acknowledge that the origination of Credit Card transactions to my account must comply with the provisions of U.S. law. I certify that I am an authorized user of this Credit Card or bank account and will not dispute these scheduled transactions; so long as the transactions correspond to the terms indicated in this authorization form and in the Tuition and Lesson Policies.

WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

On behalf of myself and as parent or guardian of the student I acknowledge and agree that it is my responsibility as the parent or guardian of the student (and not the responsibility of The International Music Academy, LLC) to ensure that the student is never left unsupervised on the premises. Parents or guardians should deliver the student directly to the classroom and ensure that the instructor is present and expecting them and also pick up the student from the classroom at the completion of the lesson. Parents are strongly encouraged to watch the lesson. The International Music Academy LLC is not responsible for the students, their siblings, friends or any other family members left unsupervised on our premises. I understand that my observation of the policy will largely eliminate the possibility of accident or injury. I hereby WAIVE any and all claims, now existing or that may in the future arise against, The International Music Academy LLC, its members, owners, servants, agents, and employees ("The International Music Academy LLC") and further RELEASE and FOREVER DISCHARGE The International Music Academy LLC from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or the student, or to any property belonging to me or the student, whether now or in the future, whether caused by the acts, errors, omissions, or negligence of The International Music Academy LLC, its members, owners, and employees or otherwise, while participating in the activity or instruction, or while in, on or upon the premises where the activity or instruction is being conducted

Photo and Video Release Form
On behalf of myself and as parent or guardian of the student, I grant The International Music Academy LLC the right to obtain and use photographs, audio recordings, and video recordings of my child without payment. These will be used for purposes related to the mission of The International Music Academy LLC, including instructional or educational purposes, publicity, marketing, and promotion of the Academy. Photographs or recordings may be copied or reproduced by various media including but not limited to print, emails, and web content.
