Houston native Gracie Martinez is a Mexican-American cellist from Houston Texas. Gracie worked with Anthony Kitai at the University of Houston for her Bachelor’s Degree and is continuing her studies with Dr. Eunghee Cho for her Masters Degree. Her training has been supplemented by masterclasses from Deborah Pae, Anne Francis Bayless, Dr. Ashley Sandro Sidon, Greg Sauer the Modigliani Quartet, and the Formosa Quartet.

Gracie has taught multiple summer camps, clinics, and region clinics in the Houston area. She is also an active freelance musician that performs in churches, ensembles, and for private events as well. Gracie is passionate in nurturing the next generation of musicians and values her time spent teaching her students.
